When you use KormiAI through Facebook Messenger, we may collect the following information:

• Your Facebook Page ID and Page name
• Messages sent to your Facebook Page by your customers
• Customer names and message content shared in Messenger conversations
• Order details, product information, and payment confirmations shared in chat
• Your business information that you provide during setup (products, prices, policies)
• Email address if you sign up for our waitlist or contact us

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected to:

• Provide automated customer support responses on your behalf
• Process and confirm customer orders through Messenger
• Send follow-up messages and re-engagement messages to your customers
• Display conversation history, orders, and payments in your dashboard
• Improve the accuracy of our AI responses for your business
• Send you service-related communications and updates

3. Facebook Data and Permissions

KormiAI integrates with Facebook Messenger through the official Meta Platform API. By connecting your Facebook Page, you authorize us to:

• Read messages sent to your Page via Messenger
• Send automated replies to customers on behalf of your Page
• Access your Page's public information (name, category)

We only request the permissions necessary to operate the service. We do not access your personal Facebook profile or any data beyond what is needed to run KormiAI on your Page.

Our use of Facebook data complies with Meta's Platform Terms and Developer Policies.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your data or your customers' data to third parties. We may share data only in the following limited circumstances:

• With AI service providers (such as OpenAI or similar) solely to generate automated responses — these providers are bound by their own privacy policies and data processing agreements
• When required by law or to protect our legal rights
• With your explicit consent

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.

Conversation data is retained for as long as you use our service and for a reasonable period afterward to allow you to access your history. You may request deletion of your data at any time.

6. Your Customers' Privacy

When KormiAI interacts with your customers via Messenger, it does so on your behalf. You are responsible for informing your customers that automated AI responses may be used. We process customer messages only to provide the service and do not use customer data for any other purpose.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. Upon request, we will delete your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

If you disconnect your Facebook Page from KormiAI, we will stop collecting new data immediately. Existing data will be retained for 30 days before permanent deletion unless you request earlier removal.

8. Children's Privacy

KormiAI is a business tool and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Your continued use of KormiAI after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
